Deactivating a Company

There are two ways to deactivate companies. Single companies can be deactivated from the Company Information page. Multiple companies need to be deactivated from the Search Results page.

Deactivating a Single Company:

  1. Search for the company to be deactivated. All the company records matching the information you entered as search criteria will be displayed in a tabular form with complete details.

  2. Once you locate the company from the list of search results, click on the company name to view details of the company. The Company Information page displays complete information about the company with the company related functions displayed at the top of the page as links.

  3. Click the De-Activate tab to the right of the page. The company will be deactivated.

Deactivating Multiple Companies:

  1. Search for the company to be edited. All the company records matching the information you entered as search criteria will be displayed in a tabular form with complete details.

  2. Select the company or companies to be deactivated by selecting the checkboxes for those companies.  The page refreshes and the selected company records will displayed in an orange background to indicate that they have been selected. Note: Only records displayed in black are active records that can be deactivated. The records displayed in red are deactivated records.

  3. Select the Click Here To Activate Or De-Activate Selected Records checkbox to deactivate the selected company records. Note: Only records displayed in black will be deactivated. If you select records displayed in red and select the Click Here To Activate Or De-Activate Selected Records checkbox, they will be reactivated.
