Searching for Companies

The first step to carry out any company related function is to locate the company. Cynergy's powerful search feature and the enables you to search for and locate the exact company you are looking for with minimal effort.

To Search for a Company:

  1. From the menu bar click the Search drop down menu. Now browse down to the CRM option. When CRM is highlighted, a pop-out menu is displayed to the right. Select Company from the pop-out menu by clicking on it.

  1. The CRM Search page is displayed. The Search field is displayed with the Company option selected from the drop-down list. You can enter as much information or as little information as the Search Criteria. Fill in the information about the company in the fields. Now check any of the options necessary for this search.

  2. Click the Search button. All the company records matching the information you entered as search criteria will be displayed in a tabular form with complete details.

  3. Click on a company name in the Company column to go to the company information page for that company. All the company related functions can be launched from the company information page.

  4. Select the checkbox for a company to select that company for activation or deactivation. The page refreshes and the selected company records will be displayed in an orange background to indicate that they have been selected.

  1. You can also select several companies using the checkboxes and save them as a group using the Save Selected Records As: field below the list. To do this:

    1.  Select all the companies you want to include in the group using the checkboxes.

    2. Type in a name for the group in Save Selected Records As: field.

    3. Select the Make Group Available To All Users checkbox if you would like the group to be available to everyone.

    4. Click the Save button to save selected companies as a group.
