Searching for Knowledge Center (KC) Documents

  1. From the Search Menu at the top of the page, select the Knowledge Center option.

  1. This takes you to the knowledge center search page which displays a list of all the items that currently exist in the knowledge center along with options to search for specific items using keywords or by item type. You can search using a combination of both fields or using only one of them.

  2. To search: Go to the left side of the page. The Search field is displayed on the left side of the page right below the Cynergy menu bar. Type in the keyword to search by in the field. When you use this option, all the Knowledge Center items containing the keyword specified will be returned as search results on the to the right of the search section.

  3. In the Document Type field: Select the document type from the drop-down list of available document types. When you select this option all documents belonging to this type will be displayed as search results.

  4. Click the Search button. A list of all Knowledge Center items matching the search criteria will be displayed to the right of the search section.

  5. Select any item for further action like editing, deleting, etc by clicking on the title of that item. This will take you to the item information page for that item.
